Waterford County Council expects to receive over €100,000 in funding for emergency repair work of the Cheekpoint Pier, currently in danger of collapse into the River Suir.
Director of Services Michael Quinn told the Council’s monthly meeting he had been “unofficially” informed that the funding would be provided by the Government for the repair
