As part of the gathering interest in the new play The Glass, written by theatre designer Paul Barry, I went along to a rehearsal at David Hennessy’s Stage School where the newly formed All Of A Sudden! Theatre Company are exploring the many characters and situations that will bring the pain of memory, the stars of regret and the anger of betrayal to Garter Lane in early March.
As part of the publicity, audiences are asked to come along early to enjoy the pre-show entertainment and a complimentary glass of bubbly. So this is not going to be some grim catalogue of woe and blame but perhaps a blast of memory and a salute to courageous workers who created an iconic world famous product.
