Dr Crokes 3-13;  Ballinacourty 0-7

Ballinacourty bowed out of this year’s Munster Club Senior Football Championship at the first hurdle on Sunday afternoon last when they were comprehensively defeated by Kerry’s Dr Crokes at Fraher Field.
This game was over well before the hour mark and one imagines that had this not been Dr Crokes’ fifth game since October 1st that they could well have won by a lot more.
The visitors ensured that victory was going to be theirs on the resumption after the break and with Colm Cooper to the fore, hitting 2-3 in total.
The first of the goals came seventy seconds after the restart when Daithí Casey passed to Cooper lurking on the edge of the square, who from close range gave Stephen Enright absolutely no chance.
Just 55 seconds later, another long ball found Cooper who fired an unstoppable shot to the Ballinacourty net to give the Killarney club a 2-6 to 0-4 advantage.
