De La Salle, understandably, were utterly devastated at the end of Saturday’s epic All-Ireland Club Hurling Semi-final defeat by Clarinbridge at Semple Stadium.
Having twice had victory in their grasp, they didn’t deserve what happened in those final seconds above and beyond extra time – though it’ll be no consolation to the Waterford champions to say they were involved in what’s being described as arguably the greatest club game ever.
