Hibernians 1; Bohemians 0

Having lost their opening game heavily to St Saviour’s, Hibernians have really come on in leaps and bounds and following two victories and a draw they are now lying in a very pleasant position on the league table.

Great credit has to go to their manager Ray Anderson, his assistant Lee Douglas and all of the players. It looked as if the points would be shared in this game but in the last minute, David McGrath scored his second goal of the campaign to put Hibs in front.

Straight from the re-start Bohemians were awarded a penalty, but Gerry Connors blazed the spot-kick over the crossbar.
