South Tipp. 1;   Waterford League 3

The Waterford League may have been held to a draw by the Dublin AUL in the Oscar Traynor competition but there was no problem for the Waterford Youth team on Saturday in Dr Pat O’Callaghan Park in Clonmel.
Playing this season under the guidance of Nicky Denn and Frankie Ryan they turned on the style against a Tipperary side who could not live with the pace and class of a very talented Waterford outfit.
Zach Shanahan, Brian Nolan (penalty) and James Starmer were the goalscorers for the stylish Waterford side. They will now play at home to Kilkenny and the West Waterford-East Cork League and will be hot favourites to top their group.
