A 33-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at Dunphy’s Shop on the Cork Road on Monday night.
Gardaí were called to Dunphy’s following reports that a woman had entered the shop brandishing a knife and hammer and demanded money from staff. The arrival of the owner on the scene prompted the woman to flee empty-handed, departing the scene in a red car.
