Championship favourites, Ballygunner eased their way into the quarter-finals with an emphatic win over near-neighbours Passage at Walsh Park last Sunday.

Even without ace attacker Pauric Mahony, the Gunners proved far too strong for a Passage side who were also without several regulars on the day.

As expected, Passage came into this game determined to put one over on their illustrious neighbours and they gave Ballygunner plenty of trouble during the first half.
