Hibernians made it five games undefeated on Saturday night when they beat a Villa side who have gone completely off the boil in recent weeks. The only goal of the game came after five minutes from Clive Prendergast.
Villa had plenty of chances to equalise and indeed win the game but missed chances and good goalkeeping condemned them to another home loss. Hibernians have now got a total of 16 points and one more win from their remaining four games (all at home should see them remain in the Premier League.
