Johnville 2; Tramore 2

It has been over a month since a league game was played but it was worth waiting for when these two clubs met in St Martin’s Park on Sunday morning last.
The champions Tramore required all three points to stay in touch with the leaders Carrick United but they had to settle for a point against a team who displayed wonderful battling qualities. Johnville took the lead through James Fatumusa who was scoring his third goal of the current campaign.
Tramore got back on level terms through Leigh Quilty who found the net from a free kick. In the early stages of the second half, Quilty scored once again this time following a break away which caught the home side by surprise.
Johnville thought they would level the game 4 minutes from full-time when they were awarded a penalty but Gavin Phelan missed from the spot. However, in the dying seconds the same player sent in a deep free kick which was headed to the net by substitute Kamaile Fatamin.
