Tramore 0; Killenaule 4

Tramore failed to repeat their success of last season over Killenaule when the teams met once again at a rain lashed Graun Park on Sunday evening.
The outfit from just outside Thurles scored in the very first minute and that proved to be a massive blow for the home side who had to plan without four of the major stars.
International Jessica Gleeson and Ciara O’Brien were ruled out due to an FAI rule while Lyn-Marie Grant and Susan Twoomey were out of the country.
Killenaule led three nil at half time and they scored once again moments into the second half, and that was that from a Tramore point of view. In fairness the hosts never stopped trying, and after the fourth goal they really lifted their game and took the game to the skillful visitors but when they missed a penalty in the dying minutes it summed up their afternoon.Tramore were caught cold straight from the opening whistle. Katie O’Regan, a big strong left winger charged down the flank before crossing to Hannah Trehy who angled a shot past the Tramore goalkeeper Amy Martin.
