Traffik at the Forum is set to attract a bumper-crowd on New Year’s Eve for the annual ‘Big Bang at Midnight’ bash. This is one of the hottest gigs of the year and offers a fantastic venue and show to dance-out the old year and welcome 2009 in style, energy and fun. God knows we could all do with a bit of fun listening to the news!

Spraoi return this year to create an eye-popping stage-show at midnight. The street-theatre specialists are set to combine: live-performers, costume, sets, special-effects, light and sound. “We invited Spraoi to be part of the gig last year and they really made something special, it was great that we were able to offer our customers something special on one of the biggest nights of the year,” a traffic spokesman told the Munster Express.

The spine of Traffik is the club’s trio of resident D.J.’s: Zoe, Louis and Tommy Boy. Blending and mixing the songs they love is a big part of their show. Listening to the songs their audience love is an even bigger part of this club. It’s the secret ingredient that has made Traffik the city’s essential music centre for years.

Regular Traffik audiences will know doors open for the ‘Big Bang at Midnight’ on New Year’s Eve at 10.00 p.m. Now our readers who are looking for something fresh and vibrant on the night know too. With tickets available on the door for a modest €15 it’s fantastic value for a fantabulous night!
