Division 1B outfit Piltown are through to the last 16 of the Munster Junior Cup following a thrilling 3-2 victory over Nenagh Celtic in Piltown on Sunday afternoon.
Former Carrick United defender Tony Reade gave the Waterford League team the lead on 27 minutes with a powerful header. A minute later the Tipperary visitors were rocked completely when Alan Wash ran on to a long ball and finished with real class.
Nenagh came out fighting in the second half and two goals pulled them back on level terms with 20 minutes remaining. But 7 minutes from full-time Alan Walsh struck once again to set up a meeting with either Wembley Rovers from Limerick or Cratlow from Clare, who play in the Limerick Desmond League, in the next stage.
