John Halligan’s successor, Councillor Sean Reinhardt, was officially co-opted into the ranks of Waterford City Council at City Hall on Monday night, where he received a warm welcome from colleagues.
The Lisduggan resident was formally nominated to fill Deputy Halligan’s seat by Cllr Cha O’Neill, who has known Cllr Reinhardt for almost 30 years.
