A Lower Grange resident was tied up in his home, threatened with a baseball bat and robbed by four males late on Sunday night.
The man, who is in his 40s, answered the door to the balaclava-clad males who pushed their way into the house.
The terrified man was threatened with a baseball bat and tied up but he was not seriously injured in the robbery. A small amount of cash was handed over during the raid. The front door was discovered open by a passer-by early on Monday morning and the Gardaí alerted.
