Brian Friel’s plays are enjoying a great revival in Ireland at the moment with “Translation” in the Abbey and “Molly Sweeney” at the Gate and a touring production of “Lovers”. So the Waterford Theatre in Kilkenny was on target with their impressive production of “Lovers” with skilful direction from Geoff Rose.
