Now in its second year and set for continued growth The Lismore Music Festival at Lismore Castle delivers a great location, wonderful garden, a canvas roof, a stable yard setting, more bawdy fun than you might expect or want, a curious and small orchestra, but with this Mozart classic – Don Giovanni – it delivered wonderful singing, singing to delight and make you want to stand up and nosily applaud. Cara O’Sullivan as Donna Anna was the business, the voice despite a few infelicities in the chilling evening air. Fiona Murphy was special as Donna Elvira.
