On the eve of the Tall Ships Festival, Garter Lane put on the Irish premiere of an Australian one woman play The Blonde, The Brunette and The Vengeful Redhead by Robert Hewett.
This was a sharp, well observed drama with nice comedy touches as Claire Barrett played about eight characters with variation and involving emphasis. This was impressive acting in a possibly overlong two hours including an interval.
