To celebrate the life and times of American tenor and movie star, Mario Lanza, Pat Egan and Geraldine McCann brought their crowd-pleasing nostalgia show to the Theatre Royal – The Loveliest Night of the Night. And it most certainly was one of the loveliest nights of the year with tenor Seán Costello in glorious form with guests Niall Morris and Sandra Oman.

A capacity audience, now referred to as “silver surfers” delighted in the hits of Lanza who was the golden voice of the fifties and they beamed and applauded the wonderful singing and the fine musicianship of Vladimir Jablokov and his Slovak Festival Orchestra.
