Shaws Department Stores have an ambitious expansion and redevelopment plan for their Waterford store. Trading since 1943, the store is undergoing a refurbishment of its first floor, starting last Monday. This follows the expansion and renovation of the ground floor last summer.

Manager Stephen Shaw says: “Shaws will continue to trade on the ground floor throughout the development process to cater to our loyal customers. When completed, the first floor will complete the modernisation of the store. It will be a great addition and will further grow our business and cater for new customers with our offering of top brands and concessions”.

The 35,000 square foot department store offers a comprehensive selection of high quality brands for ladies on the first floor that will include Jacques Vert, Bay Trading and Michael H. The menswear department features collections including Kartel, Levi and Wrangler. Not forgetting your home, Shaws offer homeware brands including Waterford Crystal and Newbridge Silverware.

Shaws Department Stores are an Irish owned company in business for over 140 years. Shaws Waterford now employs over 90 people and opens seven days, trading Sundays and Bank Holidays.
