St Declan’s (Kilmacthomas) 4; Waterpark College (Waterford) 1

St Declan’s of Kilmacthomas required a point from this game which was played in Carriignore last week to qualify for the last ten of the Under 19 Munster School’s Trophy, and they went one better by actually winning the match.
They had to come from behind to do so, but they fully deserved their victory.
In their previous two games they had beaten Lismore CBS and Clonmel CBS.
Waterpark on the other hand had lost their previous game 4-3 to Blackwater College.
St Declan’s went into this contest as favourites but they were put on the back foot during the early stages and James Hickey, the Waterpark front runner, was just off target with a volley in the fourth minute.
