Southend United have joined the leaders St.Joseph’s on top of the Under 19 A League table following this draw against the Villa in a cold and damp Connors Park on Thursday night last.
Both teams have a total of eight points from four games played. Villa on the other hand have moved on to an overall total of six points from their four games played to date.
They have moved into fourth position one point behind third placed Carrick United. It is early days in this grade but there is no doubt that it will prove to be a very tight league during the coming months.
