On Sunday last in the city over one thousand men women and children took part in the Annual Caulfields Super Value/Munster Express 10km Run which started and finished at the RSC. The event was in aid of Waterford Hospice and many of those running and walking were raising funds for lots of other charities locally and nationally.
The race was started by the Mayor of Waterford, Cllr Mary Roche who complimented all the participants and the organisers and wished all well. Kieran Walsh, MD of ‘The Munster Express’ and Thomas Caulfield from Caulfields SuperValu also thanked all the competitors and the Gardai, Order of Malta the many stewards and others involved, and Waterford City Council.
