A Judge has heard that an investment fund seeking an order for possession of a General Election candidate’s home has now sold the loan on to another fund. Shoreline Residential’s case against Fianna Fáil Councillor Eddie Mulligan and wife Dervla Mulligan, with an address provided as Knockboy, Dunmore Road, Waterford, was before Waterford Circuit Court last week where Judge Eugene O’Kelly heard that Pepper Finance Corporation is now the legal owner of the loan.

Neither Dervla Mulligan or Cllr Mulligan, who was listed in the court records as Thomas Edward Mulligan, were present in court last Wednesday 19 June and were instead represented by Andrew Walsh BL. Judge O’Kelly adjourned the matter until 15 October. Cllr Mulligan was re-elected last month in the Waterford City East area and last year was added to the Fianna Fáil ticket for the next General Election.
