A RESPONSE has been issued to a proposal put forward by members of the parish of Dunhill-Fenor regarding a dispute over burial entitlements.
However, the response includes a refusal to meet with all of the six people who were nominated as representatives following a public meeting on the issue.
In the response, Administrator of the Parish Fr Paul Murphy said he was willing to meet with four of the nominated representatives but not all six.
Following a recent public meeting held in the Dunhill Enterprise Centre, a proposal was sent for consideration to Fr Murphy and members of the Parish Pastoral Council.
At the meeting (which was attended by around 220 people) six representatives were nominated to engage in any further dealings on the matter.
