Minister of State John Halligan has re-iterated that the monies approved for the construction of a second Cath Lab at University Hospital Waterford (UHW) feature in the Health Service Executive’s new Capital Plan.
“As per the joint statement issued by Waterford Oireachtas members in November, capital funding of €4.75 million has been approved by the HSE for a second cath lab at University Hospital Waterford,” the Minister stated on Monday morning.
“I have spoken to Minister Harris today and he has again confirmed that the HSE’s new Capital Plan will include this project.”
