The Castle Park, lands already in the ownership of Carrick-on-Suir Town Council, should be availed of to improve tour bus access to Ormond Castle according to one Town Councillor.
Fianna Fáil’s Sylvia Cooney-Sheehan has questioned why the Council Executive is keen to acquire lands to the back of the Castle (‘The Sally’) when it’s already in ownership of lands to its front.
