Tipperary captain Eoin Kelly stumped every reporter in the Horse & Jockey Hotel recently when producing a statistic that underlines just how much Sunday’s Munster Final means to him.
“A lot of us went through hard times with Tipperary, days when we didn’t win,” said the Mullinahone clubman.
“And even going into the Munster final, over the last decade, Waterford have topped the pile in terms of titles won – they’ve won four, we’ve won three and Cork have won three, so if there’s not hunger there among Tipp players and Tipp supporters, I don’t know where it’s going to be.
