RTÉ will be hoping to make up for the ‘Late Late’ debacle in broadcasting 800 hours of GAA coverage between now and year end, including some promising special ‘125′ programmes.

Pat Spillane has been flagging his welcome return to the punditry side of the ‘Sunday Game’ studio, saying he didn’t think his anchorage of the highlights show was as shoddy as many made out. He’s right in saying some of those he was putting questions didn’t help. Nice lads, but about as entertaining as an Oireachtas Report repeat.
