Former Waterford County Board Chairman and respected Gaelic games journalist John A Murphy has castigated the GAA’s Central Competitions Control Committee for splitting Waterford’s two All-Ireland semi-finals over two weekends.
The CCCC, by its own admission reversed the August 7th minor semi-final fixture, which had been scheduled to feature the Leinster champions and the quarter-final winner, namely Dublin and Waterford.

This is an utterly disgraceful decision. But then the crowd in ivory towers are not living the real world at all. I have no doubt that with the high cost of travel and admittance that doubling this expense will reflect on reduced attendances. Cop yourselves on, lads.
