Cork 5-17; Waterford 2-8

Waterford’s footballers edured a day to forget in Páirc Uí Chaoimh when they were unceremoniously swept aside by the All-Ireland champions Cork.

The champions were close to top form last Sunday, sending out a message to their rivals that they will not be relinquishing their grip on the Sam Maguire without a bitter battle.
