The Under 12 Waterford team who are managed and coached by Gary Coad, Alan Sullivan and Derek O’Brien were too strong for Clare in Graun Park.

Star man in this game was Mishak Babutu as he scored a hat-trick. He opened the scoring after 21 minutes, finishing off a pass from Andrew O’Connor. The same two players combined 4 minutes later, again Babutu finishing. Conor Whittle set up Mishak Babutu on 32 minutes and he completed his hat-trick.

Cathal Correy pulled a goal back for Clare on 47 minutes, completing a good pass from Shane O’Leary but it to little to late for Clare. Captain Jack Hale lifted the cup for Waterford. Final score: Waterford 3 Clare 1.
