Despite taking the lead 47 seconds into the second half, the Waterford League cashed out of the Inter-League Youth Cup in Ozier Park on Sunday afternoon. This was a game the Waterford team had to win as they had lost their opening game of the campaign to Tipperary at the same venue back in November.
The home side did have chances to score during the course of the first half but they failed to take those opportunities and then they somehow managed to concede three goals within six minuets in the second half. Credit has to be given to the visitors because they took their goals very well indeed and there could be no arguments about the final outcome.
