For the year ended October 31st 2010, the Waterford GAA Board recorded an operating loss of €19,221 having entered the year with a surplus of €62,502.
But delegates to this Thursday’s county board convention will learn the cost of preparing inter county teams dropped from €585,699 in 2009 to €544,081 in 2010.
Unsurprisingly, the senior hurlers once topped the expense bill coming in at €283,746, down from the €327,681 spent during 2009.
A sum of €150,505 was spent on the Waterford footballers, €18,000 higher than 2009.
