Henrietta Street restaurant L’Atmosphere has been recommended by John and Sally McKenna and is proudly listed among Ireland’s top 100 restaurants in the 2010 Bridgestone Guide.
Not only that, but L’Atmosphere was named as the best recession-busting place to dine in Ireland by the guide’s authors, ahead of well-known eateries such as Chapter One and The Winding Stair (both Dublin).
“Naturally, we are delighted to be both listed in the guide and to be recognised as the leading recession-beating restaurant in the country,” said owner Arnaud Mary.
“This is a great honour and a great reflection on the commitment to quality from our team of chefs and the exemplary service that our floor staff provides to our customers. Of course, as owners, both Patrice (Garreau) and I are enormously gratified to receive such recognition from such prestigious critics.”
In the guide, Arnaud is described as not only a great chef, but “a great restaurateur, fully understanding the commercial reality of seeing your tables full, offering the most lip-smackingly good food and keeping prices keen”.
