WaterfordKKWaterford’s hurlers are hoping to defy the critics again this Sunday when they take on the might of Leinster champions Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling semi-final at Croke Park.
The sides meet for the third time in four summers and for the ninth time in Championship history, with Kilkenny hot favourites having won six of the previous encounters.
But Waterford’s Shane Walsh believes his team go into Sunday’s semi-final with renewed vigour after their tremendous quarter-final victory over Galway.
