Whilst we have had to make some very difficult and indeed tough decisions in relation to staffing levels, we are obviously pleased to have reached an agreement that will allow us to refocus all of our efforts on the long-term viability of the business in Waterford.

“Our priority has always been to retain the maximum number of jobs whilst sustaining a viable business and restoring cost competitiveness to the company.

“We are extremely grateful for the support and understanding of our employees at what has been a very difficult time for everyone in the company. Management would also like to thank and acknowledge the continued support of our customers, many of whom have been doing business with us since we first opened our doors back in 1983. Whilst we have never stopped trading during recent disputes, full customer service will be resumed today, Friday 2nd October.”
