Four more champions of heritage and culture were recognised at Dooley’s Hotel on Wednesday last at the presentation of the Munster Express/Dooley’s Hotel South East Heritage & Culture Awards (Q2 2011).
The Irish Handmade Glass Company on Waterford’s Henrietta Street and Saint Mullin’s Heritage Centre of South County Carlow were both recognised in the ‘Heritage Group’ category.
The individual culture and heritage garlands were presented to Michael Quinlan for 50 years of service to City of Waterford Brass and to Irish National Heritage Park (Ferrycarrig, Wexford) guide Jimmy O’Rourke.
