At the May meeting of Tramore Town Council on Tuesday night of last week Area Engineer Ken Walsh pledged to meet ‘next morning’ with a local priest over serious concerns he has in relation to traffic and parking arrangements in the vicinity of Holy Cross Church.
Acting on a series of complaints from parishioners, Fr Michael Toomey wrote to Mr Walsh and to each member of the Town Council outlining the issues, including the erection of permanent bollards beside disabled parking spaces and a speed ramp on Summerhill Avenue, beside the church
