In a powerful, ‘State of the City’-like address last week, Chief Superintendent Pat Murphy said Waterford Gardaí will not allow what he termed as a small group of thugs operating in the city to prevail.
“We are committed to ensuring the safety of the community,” Chief Supt Murphy told members of the Waterford Joint Policing Committee (JPC), who met last week.
