Literally a case of 'one for the cure?'

Regular readers know that I don’t give out medical advice and I always urge people who are not feeling well to ignore the ‘guy down the pub’ who knows everything and go see a real doctor.
But I came across the following remedies recently under the heading ‘Cocktails for Ailments’ and I offer them to you in good faith. Even if they don’t work, you can have an enjoyable time trying them out!
Ailment: Back pain
Cure: Mix dark rum with pineapple, fresh lime juice, spicy peppers and aloe.
Ailment: Insomnia
Cure: A red wine cocktail like sangria mixed with cloves.
Ailment: Congestion and blocked-up sinuses
Cure: Mix a saffron-infused Bourbon with rhubarb, celery and a tiny amount of lavender essences.
Ailment: Stress
Cure: Pour a herbaceous gin like Bombay Sapphire over fresh thyme, basil and cucumber topped up with tonic water.
Ailment: Feeling down in the dumps
Cure: A glass of Champagne mixed with melted chocolate made from cocoa beans.
Ailment: Jet lag
Cure: Mix a sweet vermouth with Campari, gin and a few drops of vanilla essence.
