Almost two weeks ago I caught a head cold. It’s so long since I had one that even the Lemsip sachets in the cupboard had gone quite hard and out of date. Head colds are extremely annoying as there is no cure, just various over-the-counter drugs that will keep the symptoms in abeyance. I do believe, however, if you are in a position to treat a cold at the start by taking a few days in bed and cranking your life down a gear or two, then you should.
