Waterford’s minors discarded the disappointment of opening round defeat to Tipperary to sweep away Clare at Fraher Field on Wednesday evening last in this rescheduled Munster Hurling Championship semi-final fixture.
After high winds had postponded the match at the same venue a fortnight previously, the only thing blowing at Fraher Field was the Waterford team, given the comprehensive manner in which they saw off the visitors.
