MAJOR plans to mark the 1100th anniversary of Waterford City’s foundation were unveiled at Monday evening’s meeting of Waterford City Council. And given what was revealed at the July meeting, 2014 is shaping up to be a festivity packed year in the city with numerous events planned to mark the special occasion in style. A presentation by Lynn Cahill and Eamonn McEneaney of Waterford City Council outlined the ambitious programme of events for 2014.
