Last week wasn’t a good week for Independent Wexford TD, Mick Wallace, because, apart from his problems in the Dail, he was also landed with a major headache on his home patch.
Deputy Wallace, as many people know, is the driving force behind Wexford Youths Football Club in the Airtricty National League and he spent over €6m of his own money building the club’s home ground, Ferrycarrig Park. However, to his dismay, he learned last week that the proposed Oylegate to Rosslare motorway will go right through it.
