Few if any gave Stradbally any chance of securing anything from this game at Fraher Field on Sunday last, but for forty minutes there was little to separate these two sides as Stradbally held their own against their fancied opponents.
Much debate has arisen over the last few years regarding the best position of Stradbally stalwart Michael Walsh. Some say it is centre back. Others say centre forward and earlier this year we had a portion of the Waterford supporters asking that he be placed at full back. Those present however at Fraher Field on Sunday last will be in doubt that Walsh is best deployed in the middle of the field.
