Business, political and education sectors in Waterford were closing ranks this week and preparing to launch a fierce offensive if it emerges that the RTE Regional Studio at City Square in Waterford city is in jeopardy as part of a major RTE restructuring programme.
It would be ‘totally and utterly unacceptable and we could not let it happen,’ said City Mayor Pat Hayes.
