Last year’s beaten finalists Ballinacourty suffered a serious scare against St Saviours before eventually holding on for a narrow one point win in Leamybrien last Saturday evening. This defeat was a bitter pill to swallow for the city side, who deserved at least a draw for their efforts.
St Saviours suffered a blow in the warm-up to this game when full-back, Kieran Murphy aggravated an ankle injury and this prompted a re-shuffle of the St Saviours defence. T
