Waterford collected their first Allianz Football League win of the season at Fraher Field on Sunday last, recording a six-point success over Limerick who pipped them to last year’s Division Four title.
Conditions in Fraher Field were far from ideal. A near gale force wind and driving rain from the ‘dressing room corner’ of the field resulted in both sides in the early moments of the game finding it hard to settle.
