A superb second half hat-trick from talented minor prospect Padraig Hunt proved the main difference between the teams from the Clodiagh River during this windswept Junior ‘B’ Hurling final in Dunhill on Saturday last.
At half-time, Clonea led by just a single point (0-7 to 0-6), but Hunt’s introduction altered the complexion of the game entirely.
